Why are we named White Violet? My gentle and loving mum was named Violet. Her dream was for me and my sisters to be happy and successful in business. Despite losing her at a very young age, she inspired us in so many ways that influenced the paths we took as adults, and so choosing her name for our business was my way of saying thank
Why are we named White Violet? My gentle and loving mum was named Violet. Her dream was for me and my sisters to be happy and successful in business. Despite losing her at a very young age, she inspired us in so many ways that influenced the paths we took as adults, and so choosing her name for our business was my way of saying thank you.
The first wedding I styled was for my son and daughter in law in 2018. I helped them create the rustic wedding they dreamed of. I started by making an abundance of hessian and lace bunting, then rustic serviette holders with individual name tags, table runners, styling for the candy cart, signage and even a rustic wreath. The day before the wedding was such fun, styling the venue and bringing together all the finer details. After they posted pictures of their day on social media, engaged couples began messaging to say they loved the decor, and requested details of the wedding stylist! And so our journey into the Wedding Industry began!

I have a background in Interior Design and soft furnishings, and love to create beautiful spaces by combining colours, lighting and props to transform venues into something special. I am passionate

I have a background in Interior Design and soft furnishings, and love to create beautiful spaces by combining colours, lighting and props to transform venues into something special. I am passionate that you should have a day that is truly yours and not a carbon copy of someone else's day. This can be achieved through little nods towards your hobbies and interests or by incorporating your favourite colour or maybe through the introduction of big bold statement decor that screams it is your day or through some custom signage - whatever it is, let's make it unique!!

Hi, I'm John, a father of 3 wonderful children, and happily married to my best friend Lorraine for 32 years!
I was a trained toolmaker before becoming a Firefighter, and so am very hands on. As you can imagine, I am also a dab hand at climbing the ladder to hang our wonderful selection of ceiling decor!
